Tomorrow begins the WHY? US/Vancouver tour! Hope to see you all there—especially MPLS and Fargo, where I’ll be playing an opening set as well.

This is my first time playing at the Aquarium in too many years! I can’t wait :)
This was at Locomotiv in Bologna, Italy.
It’s about time. The rate at which I listen to songs like Swim Good (which, at this point, if my favorite) is ridiculous without showing her how much I appreciate it.
Now you can go on my iPod.
AWWW! Thank you!
“Sarah Winters” - June Female Portrait Contest Winner
Unknowingly, the female winner of my contest turned out to be a singer and song writer. I am making no exaggeration whatsoever when I say that Sarah has one of the most chill-inducing phenomenal voices I have ever heard. As a result, I opted to make this portrait evolve while listening to her album rather than having something in mind ahead of time.
You’ve simply gotta hear this girl, She’s got a free download of her cover of Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” that will leave you pondering the universe: http://swinters.tumblr.com/post/1607162607
If you like this painting, do follow me on tumblr (I follow back almost every person that follows me for the sake of not missing out on potential inspiration), or for the latest, I run a mean facebook artist’s page and a musing-filled twitter.
If you don’t yet follow Sam Spratt, go. do.

Sarah Winters - Swim Good
Bir yere yaz gelmeli, kalbimize ya da mevsimlere.
Your music clips— Your voice brings tears to this cold-hearted Jester at night. You are a very talented person, and I hope you the best for today, and forever. (Since this is an "ask" page, then let me ask; whether this is a hobby or a profession, would you always sing to this Tumblr?)
So kind of you to say. Thank you!
I will always sing, whether tumblr exists or not :)

So… @paintersgonnapaint suggested I cover this song yesterday. Had to see if I could. I only attempted the chorus so far, but it got the wheels spinnin’… Perhaps I need to finish it and try out my rap skillz.
I’m thinking I might complete this when I get back to Cincinnati!
